Privacy Policy
Last updated October 30, 2026
WebTempo, LLC ("WebTempo," "we" or "us") runs webtempo.co. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
The short version
- We collect only what we need to reply to you, run the free website audit and keep the site working.
- We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
- We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics are cookie-free.
- When you run the free audit, the address you test is sent to Google and Cloudflare, and Cloudflare's scan of that address may be publicly listed.
Information we collect
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, email address, business name, the service you're interested in, your message and, if you choose, your website address. We use this to reply to you and talk about your project. The form is delivered to our inbox by our email provider, Resend.
When you run the free website audit
The audit needs the web address you want to test. To test it, we send that address to two services:
- Google PageSpeed Insights, which measures the page's speed on phones and computers.
- Cloudflare URL Scanner, which visits the page to check its search basics, the tools it uses and whether AI tools can read it.
Cloudflare's scans may be public. The address you test, along with Cloudflare's report and screenshots of the page, can appear in Cloudflare's list of recent scans and in its search results. Only test pages that are already public, and don't test addresses that contain private details, such as links with login tokens or account numbers.
We keep audit results on our servers for a few hours at most, so the same page isn't tested twice in a row. We don't keep a record that links an audit to you. If you save the report as a PDF, that file stays on your device.
Usage limits and bot protection
To stop abuse, we limit how many audits and messages each visitor can send. To count them, we use a one-way scrambled version (a hash) of your IP address, never the address itself, and the counts expire within 24 hours. When you start an audit or send the contact form, Vercel BotID runs an invisible check in your browser to tell people from automated bots.
Analytics
We use Umami to understand how the site is used. It records things like the pages visited, the site that referred you, your browser, operating system, device type and country. It also records a few actions, such as clicks on audit links and audits started or completed, including the domain that was tested. Umami doesn't use cookies, and we don't use it to identify you.
Hosting and server logs
Our host, Vercel, processes your IP address and basic browser information to deliver pages and protect the site, and keeps standard server logs for a limited time.
Cookies and browser storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores a few preferences in your browser, such as light or dark mode and whether the audit report's section menu is open. They stay on your device. Vercel BotID may store short-lived technical data in your browser to complete its check. It isn't used for advertising.
How we use information
- To reply to your messages and provide the services you ask about
- To run the free website audit
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse
- To understand which pages and features are useful, so we can improve them
- To meet legal obligations
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only what they need to do their job:
- Vercel: Hosts the website and runs the bot check on forms (privacy policy)
- Resend: Delivers contact form messages to our inbox (privacy policy)
- Google: Runs the speed tests in the free audit (PageSpeed Insights) (privacy policy)
- Cloudflare: Scans the site you audit (URL Scanner) (privacy policy)
- Umami: Cookie-free website analytics (privacy policy)
We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to work with you and for our business records, then delete them. Audit results are kept for a few hours at most, and usage-limit counts for 24 hours. Analytics are kept in aggregate.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it or delete it. Email contact@webtempo.co and we'll respond within 45 days. Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you additional rights. We'll honor reasonable requests either way.
You can also block our analytics with a content blocker or browser privacy setting. The site works the same without it.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We protect the site with encrypted connections (HTTPS), bot protection and usage limits, and we keep our service providers' keys on our servers, never in your browser. No website is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you share.
Links to other sites
Our blog and pages link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their policies when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll say so on the site.
